Extreme team

The project itself brought too many emotions that I could put into nice story so I‘d rather list some flashbacks of all what happened:

Activities we did:

  • hiking,
  • caving,
  • orientation games,
  • repeling,
  • bicycling,
  • snorceling & scubadiving,
  • camping,
  • adrenalin park,
  • sightseeing (Ljublijana, Ajdovshcina, Bled)
  • wine tasting (not only taskting too),
  • country presentations (3 times!),
  • social evenings and parties,
  • waiting :)
  • nice meaningful talks and jokes with usually gap in the logic

Discoveries:

  • Beauty of Slovenia,
  • CUTE Slovenian guys,
  • 2 Jordanians were volunteers in Lithuania (even in Ramygala!),
  • friendly nature of Slovenians,
  • diversity of project participants both ethnically and occupation.
  • Clean drinking water in Slovenia,
  • my fear of depth,
  • my urgency to do something meaningful.

Disappointment: I was too afraid of scuba diving…

Comfort zone: role sliding/ zip sliding was one of the things going absolutely out of comfort zone, after one disappointment I finally DID it :)

Highlights:

  • friendships we made,
  • peaceful nature,
  • caving experience,
  • relaxation in Bled,
  • cultural discoveries,
  • Olympics basketball Lithuania won vs Argentina (the first match)

Things you don’t forget or inside jokes:

  • “straw shoes”,
  • “wake up people”,
  • “Grandma Aure & Juste”,
  • “live reporting from Prague airport”,
  • “fast track sightseeing Prague”,
  • “WELL ACTUALLY by Ahmed”

Go out of your comfort zone, go extreme!
