Escape to Nida
It's a shame to say but that was my first visit to Nida in Curonian Split -
a unique place in Lithuania. It took me a quarter of age to go there! Once I reached the place it hit me why the hell I been waiting to come there. This is the things, that we usually tend to wait for a good moment to visit a new place, to meet old friend, to read a book we been wanting to read for long.. and we wait, and we wait. But the time flies with the wind, and you wake up one day realising that you been busy with the things that you actually do not like that much, and postponing the things you like the most. Thanks god I had
that moment a while ago, and right now even if I do not likfe my occupation that much, I enjoy myself in any other possible ways, going out and chatting with friends with a cup of coffee in the oldtown or a glass of wine, weekly beer meet-ups, twice a week yoga classes, evening book reading, bike rides, started making my own hand made jewlery which is very exciting, weekends get-away trips. In general I enjoy my life, and I'm searching for better options to fulfill myself in other ways which gives me more excitement about the tomorrow which will bring unknown...

Speaking about the last weekend get-away to the seaside. It was at the perfect time of the year, when all the tourists are away, and only few people like us wondering about with no hurry. We found a cosy flat to rent with a view to the big Parnidge dune, got on bikes and rode through little bike-paths through the forest with yellow leaves fallen down and the watter and th wind.

Absolutelly relaxing.
Not even mentioning the company, which was the best combination I suppose. Our jokes and night conversations at the lighthouse and in the bed, made the weekend absolutelly enjoyable and recharged with possitive energy!

Hi, I want to stop overnight in Nida on my way to Kaliningrad next March. What's the best/easiest way to get there? Thanks!
Jeff
Hey Jeff,
Well I am not sure of how you are going there: car, bus, hitchhiking.. all is possible. If you go to Kaliningrad through curounian split, then you are passing by Nida anyway. If you want i can give you a contact of nice one room (kind of studio) falt to rent out for a reasonable price.
Just ask something specific and i'll try to help you :)
Take care,
Audra
