The year of 2008

The year was very good!

I have never been hungry.
I have never been in a danger because of my race, or believes.
My family, friends and myself are healthy.

Truly, the year was great!

I have read over 10 good books.
I have visited 6 countries.
I have attended two weddings of my friends and one christening.
I have a brand new niece.
I have met amazing people in Slovenia who quickly found a place in my heart for life.
I have improved my Russian language skills.
I have tried new things that I was afraid of, and now I’m happy I’ve challenged myself.
I had sincere laugh on our weekly little Friday (Wednesday) beer nights
I have re-discovered old-new friends
I have almost fulfilled all resolutions for 2008 and found a place to improve.
I have send and received postcards with warm words to people I do not know just to brighten their day.
I went for bar rollings and places that I have never been to before, and discovered couple of cute places.
I have started to drink coffee after long years of not doing it, and I like it.
I have found time for handcrafts and I like it.
I have been out most of the evening of this year.
I have met long-time-no-see friends.

The destiny played it’s role well and brought me some loss and lessons, from which I have learned always to seek for a star light in a very dark night.

I have drunk a full cup that 2008 have offered me with it’s sweetness and bitterness ! Can’t wait to see what 2009 will bring for me, coz I have loads of plans for 2009!
